$54,367-$58,732/annually 

Position Summary:

The Live-In Night Staff is responsible to ensure the children in the live-in programs are appropriately supervised and cared for during the night shift and that the Live-In milieu is safe and secure. Night Staff are expected to be awake and vigilant throughout the shift.

Education/Training/Experience:

• College diploma or university degree in child and youth work; social service work or equivalent specialization
• Must have Red Cross First Aid/CPR C, Safe Management certification
• Minimum of six (6) months direct residential experience, including student placements.
• Good verbal and written communication
• Demonstrated strong crisis prevention and management skills.
• Good understanding of trauma and impact on children; cognitive behavior approach with children and youth; and relationship issues.
• Demonstrated good child management skills.
