General Responsibilities:

                ·             Appointed as the TS Management Representative

·             Lead Quality Dept & ensure compliance to policies, work procedures & instructions

·             Liaison with customers on quality related issues

·             Coordinate quality problem investigation & complete customer corrective action    requirements

·             Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials meet Supplier Quality Standards

                ·              Provide management reports and documentation of key measurable as required, and maintain a system for communicating ongoing performance to Senior Management and employees

·             Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system

                ·             Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process and quality system, stop production if necessary to correct quality problems

                ·             Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected

·             Oversee the team, ensuring up to date Quality related records and ISO/TS requirements

·              Ensure departmental labour budget is met consistently & recommend improvements

                ·             To train, develop, mentor, direct and discipline subordinates to ensure a productive, efficient and competent workforce to meet scheduled requirements in a safe environment

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants will need to have:

                ·              University Degree and/or combination of College Diploma with minimum 5 years of Supervisory/Management experience in a manufacturing environment OR proven practical work experience and work ethics if considered for internal promotion

·               Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)

                ·               Advance knowledge in computer software for windows

·                Excellent organizational and time management skills

·                Excellent interpersonal and strong leadership skills

                ·               A good mentor and motivator

                ·               Good working knowledge of quality system

                ·               Knowledge of SPC techniques in automotive manufacturing environment

                ·               Good working knowledge of blueprint reading and quality measuring tools

                ·                Familiar with OHSA, ESA and Human Rights Code

This is an ongoing position turning full time after 3 months

The wage is to be negotiated + 4% vacation pay - direct deposit paid weekly
