About the Opportunity
As part of a queue, the successful candidate will facilitate and satisfy customer requirements for the provisioning and scheduling of installation and/or repair of telecommunication services.  This role is responsible for updating customers on the status of their field appointments and service orders, as well as collaborating with outside partners to ensure timely delivery of services.  Hours of work are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Scheduling installations & repairs with internal technicians and 3rd Party Providers
  • Assigning plant facilities and coordinating porting
  • Answering customer scheduling inquiries.
  • Analyze and investigate customer accounts and contracts for clarity of service orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data is maintained in our customer database.
  • Schedule on-site installations, changes and maintenance with internal and external resources, including the Wireless Team Installation Schedule
  • Review and process 411 directory listings & 911 listings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
You Offer
  • Successful experience in a customer service and/?or call centre environment and/or exceptional telephone etiquette is essential.
  • Good understanding of the telecommunications industry is an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a Windows PC environment, combined with demonstrated keyboarding and data entry abilities.
  • Strong attention to accuracy, detail and follow-up.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate and monitor a significant number of functions simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and situations, take appropriate action, implement solutions or escalate as required.
  • Communicates with confidence using superior customer service skills and possess highly developed telephone etiquette.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaboratively with other departments with minimal supervision
  • Valid Class G driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
