ON-CALL / TEMPORARY BASIS
ON-CALL / TEMPORARY BASIS
Express Employment Professionals are currently recruiting for a pool of temporary workers available to work on-call / casual assignments with various St. Thomas area clients. Ideal candidates would be open to casual work in a temporary setting. Client locations vary and we have multiple positions we fill for in the St. Thomas and surrounding area.
Typical Opportunities for On-Call Work:
- Product Delivery Helper – Ride in truck / Heavy lifting; this role doesn’t involve driving.
- Warehouse work including loading or unloading containers, building shelves, putting together furniture.
- Factory work including running machines, quality inspection of finished product, packaging, sorting and documenting defective parts.
- Previous labour experience required for assignments requiring consistent heavy lifting
- Ability to lift between 30 to 50 pounds consistently is required
- Steel Toed Boots – CSA Certified
- Availability for immediate assignments with minimal notice an asset
- Casual / On-Call Day Shifts – Early Starts and 7 am to 3pm Shifts
- Some positions could be long days
