Job Description
Express is recruiting an Underwriter Assistant on an evaluation hire basis for our client in London, ON! The pay range for this position is between $17.00-$18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities of the job:
- Service on-going client needs, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
- Prepare documentation for clients or brokers, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
- Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
- Provide assistance to underwriters
- Completion post secondary education
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- RIBO licence preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Adobe
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail, proofreading, and problem-solving skills.
