Job Description

 On behalf of our client in Woodstock, ON, we are currently recruiting for a full time Customer Service Representative for a 14 month contract. The ideal candidate will be a mature, self-motivated team player with good communication skills.

Duties may include (but not limited to)
  • Obtain and manage customer forecast and orders for parts to be supplied
  • Create purchase orders when customer orders are received
  • Place supplier orders using POs issued by internal business software (JDE)
  • Organize logistics requirements and monitor customer shipments as needed
  • Maintain and track the inventory database
  • Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner
  • Create Sales Orders and Sales Invoices based on customer POs
  • Respond to customer requests for information in a timely manner
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a College Diploma or University Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
  • Working knowledge in JDE, SAP, Red Prairie WMS system or similar systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines
  • Must maintain a high level of accuracy; excellent attention to detail
  • Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
Hours
  • Monday to Friday; ability to work between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm
Compensation
  • Starting wage is $16.50 per hour
