Job Description
Lerners' London office currently has an opening for a Junior Accounting Clerk. The duties for this position include -
- reviewing, processing and delivering file cheques, ensuring the account coding and taxes are correct;
- recording and balancing cash receipts;
- processing and reconciling petty cash;
- servicing clients making payments on their accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role will have one to two years of accounting experience in a professional services organization. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask, will possess excellent organization and communication skills, will be self-motivated, energetic, flexible, and enjoy working as a member of a team. Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as Elite, will be an asset. Accounting experience in a Law firm environment is preferred.
