Hanwha L&C Canada is currently seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our team. Hanwha L&C Canada is the proud manufacturer of luxurious HanStone® Quartz countertops. Hanwha L&C Canada’s innovative product combines natural quartz, one of nature’s hardest materials, with high-quality polymer resin and pigment to produce a durable yet luxurious stone surface, delivering perfection around the world. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a resource to Operations regarding all accounting issues, reporting and analysis.
• Process purchase order requests, requests for payment and issue cheques in a timely manner.
• Analyze the controls in manufacturing procedures and recommend improvements as needed.
• Track and confirm accuracy of inventory.
• Responsible for daily and month end accounting transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for the plant and headquarters.
• Liaise with headquarters and follow up on inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by Controller.

 Qualifications:

• Proficiency with computerized accounting/ERP systems with advanced knowledge of Excel required.
• Previous experience compiling and analyzing financial reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Korean.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
