Note: This is a full-time temporary Administrative position (37.5 hours per week) starting January 8, 2024 and ending August 31, 2026.

Duties: Reporting to the Chair, Apprenticeship and Skilled Trades Accelerator, the incumbent coordinates the delivery of Fanshawe College’s Women in Red Seal Skilled Trades initiative/collaborative project in partnership with similar Administrators for this same project. This includes St. Clair, Sheridan and Durham Colleges. The role requires budget oversight, directing and hiring part time faculty members to assist with events, working with ministry representatives including Unifor, representing the College at external trades employers and businesses in the community and delivering instruction of equity, diversity and inclusion curriculum and training plan. The incumbent will also prepare data for government reporting.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or Social Work
  • Minimum 3 years’ recent and relevant experience
  • Project management experience
  • Marketing/advertising design experience
  • Operations management, including budget experience
  • Research skills and the ability to analyze and summarize information
