Key Responsibilities:
1. Subject Matter expert on the management and monitoring of the following:
3. Identify and mitigate server and network limitations before they occur, and recommend solutions for improvement, engaging resources as needed.
4. Constantly monitoring and learning about what is going on in the industry from a hardware, software, and security point of view.
5. Experience communicating with customers on network and system integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Subject Matter expert on the management and monitoring of the following:
- Server and network components; ensuring they are high performing, have high availability and are highly secure
- Five 9’s and what it takes to satisfy
- Firewall rule sets and configurations
- Security scans on internal and external network components.
- Up-to-date server, network component and communications
3. Identify and mitigate server and network limitations before they occur, and recommend solutions for improvement, engaging resources as needed.
4. Constantly monitoring and learning about what is going on in the industry from a hardware, software, and security point of view.
5. Experience communicating with customers on network and system integration efforts.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or equivalent post-secondary education,
- Significant experience, and considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by peers.
- Knowledge / experience managing server farms and associated infrastructure.
- Strong network design and troubleshooting skills; switching, routing, firewall, etc.
- Experience in programming, participating in the design and construction phases of a development projects involving object-oriented (OO) component-based applications.
- Experience and understanding of security concepts, including PCI (Payment Card Industry) regulations considered an asset.
- You are able to work both independently and within a team.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are hardworking, self-motivated, and passionate about learning and working with the latest technologies.
- You love having to think outside the box to find solutions to problems.
- You’re a team player who adapts quickly to ever-changing environments.
