Job Description

JOB TITLE:                           Junior Software Developer (Job # 201705-11)

DESCRIPTION: Work with Senior Level Programmer on all tasks including front and back end web portal design and development.  The incumbent will assist with analyzing business requirements, recommend possible solutions and ultimately provide technical support for implemented systems.  

QUALIFICATIONS:            

  • HTML, Javascript, CSS, and responsive design are essential
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap framework
  • Experience with C-family languages including C, Perl, PHP, C#
  • Hosting/deployment of web applications on Apache and/or IIS environments
  • Familiarity with MVC design patterns and GIT version control
  • Knowledge of common browser issues and debugging tools
  • An agile mindset and team player
  • Must be thorough and precise with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Good understanding of web standards, site security and interface design
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills

 

TYPE OF JOB:                      Contract Full-time

EFFECTIVE DATE:               12 Months – to commence asap

SALARY RANGE:                 SSG-10 $48,288. – $58,833. per annum, dependent on experience
