On behalf of our client in London, Ontario, we are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator on an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Ceridian and hold a PCP designation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Ceridian and hold a PCP designation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll administration for all employees, including pay schedules, payroll deductions, setting up employees, changes/queries and removal of employees
- Facilitate new employee orientation regarding payroll and benefits
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and inconsistencies in policies
- Respond to employees’ payroll and/or benefit questions and concerns
- Communicate with external providers, such as ADP / Ceridian and Benefit providers
- T4 Administration
- Group RSPs Administration
- EEAP Program Queries
- Benefits administration; including set up of new hires, terminations, medical and dental claims, short term and long term disability, out of Province insurance coverage
- Post-secondary education in accounting or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Payroll and Benefits Administration experience required
- Experience with Ceridian is required
- PCP designation considered an asset, but not required
- Strong understanding of Employee Payroll, Pay Schedules, Payroll Deductions process, Legal Requirements and Standards
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Exceptional multi-tasking, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve and learn quickly in a fast paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently
- Hardworking, self-motivated and passionate about learning
- Monday to Friday, Day time hours
- Dependent on candidate experience
