Job Description

On behalf of our client located in London, ON, we are currently seeking a full-time Collections Clerk on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience doing collections over the phone, preferably in a call-center setting.
 
Job Duties and Requirements                              
  • Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls in regards to outstanding accounts
  • Review and collect outstanding payments
  • Document all contact in a clear and concise manner
  • Negotiate acceptable payment arrangements with clients
  • Maintain constant communication with management and clients in regards to account statuses
Requirements  
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/ GED; post-secondary education preferred
  • At least 2-5 years’ proven collections related experience
  • Preference given to collections experience in a call centre environment
  • Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of work
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and oral
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm with an hour lunch, overtime may be required for busy peaks or days with meetings.
