Job Description
Duck and Dodo, London's DIY/Fusion Mineral Paint destination, is looking to expand our team yet again with a permanent Retail Assistant Manager position at our new 4000 sq ft location on Adelaide St. We've just entered our 6th year in business and we're looking for the right person who wants to grow alongside us!
If you are a current Retail Manager, or someone with Keyholder or Shift Supervisor experience and looking to move into Management, this is a great opportunity with a unique, local one of a kind small business. Someone who is flexible, can multitask effectively and can think on their feet will thrive in this role.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. Our products are diverse, ranging from local handmade products, vintage second-hand clothes, art prints, and most importantly, DIY/Paint products! Your job is to help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend the perfect solution. A positive attitude and a desire to always be learning will ensure that you succeed in this role.
Pay is negotiable on experience. This position will be approximately 20-30 hours a week, and could flex higher depending on the season.
Key Responsibilities (this is not meant to be a complete, exhaustive list of duties, and daily tasks can and will vary!)
Thanks for reading! If you feel that you meet the above requirements, and you've got the background we're looking for, send your resume in confidence to contact@duckanddodo.ca!
