We are currently seeking a full time Manager - Financial Operations with a desire to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our organization.

This position requires demonstration of day-to-day leadership abilities. The Manager - Financial Operations will be responsible for managing the financial operations and providing input to the accounting and finance team to facilitate the preparation of financial information that properly reflects the financial position of the company, including financial budgets and internal financial reporting, and serving as a resource to all of the organization's business units.
 
The Manager - Financial Operations, will report to the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). 
 
The position requires a CA or CMA designation coupled with excellent time, people and project management skills.  Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant financial leadership experience outside of a public accounting firm.
 
Strong electronic business application skills are a necessity, including advanced level Excel.
 
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
 
Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Manage sales invoicing and collections and prepare commission/royalty calculations
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual budget and prepare variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Assist in the implementation of the long term strategic plan of the company
• Review, approve and process bi-weekly payroll and related statutory submissions as prepared by Senior Accountant
• Provide assistance with quarterly reviews and year-end audit as necessary including, but not limited to, the review and update of audit checklists
• Review and reporting of Key Performance Indicators to the Financial Management Team

Other Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the CFO with respect to regulatory reporting requirements for public companies
• Monitor and enhance processes to provide effectiveness and efficiency, maximizing the use of technology
• Ensure documentation of key financial/accounting processes is maintained
• Perform compliance, control and risk management analysis
• Maintain control and tracking of capital assets
• Manage and assist with other projects as required
