CANDUCT INDUSTRIES LIMITED, London, ON

POSITION:   Afternoon Shipper 

HOURS OF WORK:  Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:30 am (Overtime required)

REPORTS TO:  Production Supervisor

REQUIRED BACKGROUND:

·          High school diploma

·          Excellent ability to work within a team environment

·          Three plus years of safe forklift experience, preferably certified through an outside company

·          Three plus years of shipping, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment

·          Must be well organized with the ability to handle changing priorities

·          Excellent attention to detail

DESIRED BACKGROUND:

·          Ability to read blueprints and/or drawings

·          Ability to use calipers and measuring tools

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

·          Ensuring all components arriving in shipping from production are identified and accompanied with required paperwork, including work orders, drawings and Lead Hand signature

·          Timely packaging and labeling of completed orders to Canduct customers within strict guidelines

·          Loading of trucks with various forklifts

·          Final Quality Control checks on all outbound shipments

·          Ensuring all paperwork is fully completed, signed and passed on for filing as per company guidelines

·          Reviewing upcoming shipping schedule to assist in assembling next day shipments and documents

·          Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
