Position Title: Videographer/Writer
Type of Position: 2 Full time summer student positions (funded by Ontario government)
Reports To: Executive Director
 
Role: To gather, edit and prepare the stories of our clients and members for use in our agency materials
Main Duties:

• Create an interview template ensuring that the agencies goals are taken into consideration 
• Meet with members to record their stories and or take video of them talking about living with epilepsy
• Edit stories so that there are in a publishing format and meet the agencies goals
• Obtain final approval of use of stories and photos from clients
• Collect and maintain all documentation
• Keep all stories in a secure manner on site
• Take photos and videos of summer camp activities

Additional Duties:

• As assigned

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor
• Carrying equipment
• Operating recording equipment and computers

 
Employment Requirements:

• Some post-secondary education in communications, journalism or related program
• Satisfactory police vulnerable sector record check (existing record checks dated within last 12 months will be accepted)

$11.25/hr
