StarTech.com is currently looking for a Product Manager to join our Product Management team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management, the Product Manager owns the global management of a Product Category within the StarTech.com portfolio of products.  As the owner for your Category of the roadmap strategy, Profit & Loss, definition of Product feature sets, and lifecycle management from New Product Introduction through to End of Life – you are the resident subject matter expert on the products in your portfolio and how our customers use them, and a key contributor to the success of the company.

The Product Manager is responsible for the ongoing revenue growth of the Category through effective marketing, competitive positioning, pricing and forecasting at all stages of the product lifecycle across 16 countries while assuring alignment to the corporate strategy.

What You Will Gain

• International Business Development experience, identifying & building corporate competencies as required to support market growth through Product Category opportunities in 16 countries (and growing).
• The ability to act as product champion and have ultimate approval for all deliverables related to the product (Information, packaging, marketing, forecast, pricing, etc.)
• Internal (Sales, Finance, Marketing) & External Customer interactions at all levels as the Product Category champion
• Subject Matter Expertise in existing and new technologies related to a  product portfolio(s)

What You Can Show Us

• Experience managing profit and loss for a multi-million dollar product portfolio, including new product introduction and managing the performance of products in market through effective marketing, competitive positioning, pricing and forecasting
• A minimum of 3 years product management experience, or equivalent
• MBA, HBA or Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or related field recommended
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills
