Job Description
Digital Boundary Group is an information technology security services firm serving clients worldwide. We provide information security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, intrusion investigation services, and security training. We are looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate has experience working with IT project management or software development, either as a Project Resource, Project Manager or Business Analyst. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, and is an excellent communicator. This position acts as the bridge between technical teams, executive leadership, sales, and external customers. Having a technical aptitude and experience with process implementation and administration is a big plus.

A typical day as the Technical Administrator includes:
- Working with the sales team and external customers to ensure that requirements have been defined for upcoming projects.
- Organizing project documentation, scheduling resources, and booking travel/accommodations as needed.
- Working within the project tracking tools (Clarizen and Salesforce) to ensure that projects are entered and tracked accurately and appropriately.
- Basic Clarizen administration – managing accounts, reports, and troubleshooting/team assistance.
- Developing and implementing procedures as needed and creating, maintaining and updating process documentation.
- Concurrently coordinating multiple projects of varying size and complexity with a high degree of accuracy.
- Managing all project-related communications to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining efficient and flexible processes to gather accurate, timely, and relevant project information.
- Analyzing information to identify trends, opportunities, risks and issues.
- Executing processes to collect, report and accurately maintain the following (at a minimum): Time Management; Project Schedules; Resource Capacity Management; Issue/Risk Management; and Status Reporting.
If you have the technical aptitude and desire to learn you will also have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement customized workflows using Clarizen.
- Implement customizations to further support/enforce company procedures.
- Manage support requests with the software vendor for Clarizen.
Qualifications:
- Proven document proof-reading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining quality, cost and efficiency targets.
- Demonstrated experience with summarizing findings and report preparation to communicate project state.
- Proven ability to manage and organize work for other team members.
- Ability to accept accountability for both team and individual results.
- Intermediate level knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Clarizen and Salesforce applications beneficial.
Education and Training
- 2-year college diploma in a related field.
- Project Management Certification is not mandatory but considered an asset.
