One of our clients, located in St. Marys, Ontario is hiring for Operators to work in their food processing/packaging facility. This is a full time, ongoing position that pays $13/hour and requires rotating shift work.

Responsibilities:

Ø  Sanitizes, starts up filling equipment, operates throughout shift and cleans/sanitizes according to company procedures

Ø  Ensures that fillers and related equipment operate according to specifications by operating controls and reporting any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel

Ø  Submit daily reports to Production Supervisor

Ø  Directs the work of others to ensure smooth filling process; work area maintained in clean/orderly condition

Ø  Other duties and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Ø  Must have Grade 12 Diploma or GED

Ø  Own transportation as public transportation is not available

Ø  Ability to work any schedule and overtime as requested

Ø  Must have demonstrated ability to work with mathematics, measurements, and be confident with numbers

Ø  Must be observant, conscientious, and detail oriented, with a strong mechanical aptitude

Ø  Previous experience or knowledge of micro-processing controls would be a definite asset
