Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a full-time Weld Cell / MIG Welder for a large manufacturer in south London.
This position is a 2-4 month contract
This position has an immediate start.
Requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years experience in an weld cell / welding
- You strive in a fast paced environment
- You are a great multi-tasker (you enjoy challenge & change)
- Must have reliable vehicle (shift is not bus accessible)
- Must have great manual dexterity
- Must have a clean criminal record
Duties include:
Setting Robotic Weld machines to specification and robotically weld parts together according to drawing and specifications.
Read and interpret welding techniques to fabricate parts to be used in the manufacturing of product.
Visual check to confirm that the welds are as per the drawings i.e., type of welds, locations.
Visual inspection of the weld to check for visible weld defects according to the welding compliance standard.
Basic maintenance of Welding and Set-up equipment in addition to ensuring gas and wire as required for the next shift.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am
Pay: $19/hour
