Material Handler/Warehouse
We are currently seeking full-time Material Handlers for our London branch. Canada Steel Service Centre is a steel wholesale company with branches across Southwestern Ontario.

This position has a 4 week work cycle schedule - two weeks of days (7am to approx 3pm) then two weeks of afternoon shifts (3pm to approx 11pm).  Then repeats Days, Nights.

Day shift mainly consists of: pulling and bundling customer orders using overhead cranes, physically pulling orders by hand, receiving material, helping keep warehouse organized and tidy and stocking shelves.

Afternoon shift mainly consists of: pulling/bundling orders, loading our 5 trucks for delivery next morning, restocking shelves and tidying and organizing warehouse.

We typically stock a large variety of Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled, Aluminum, Stainless, Rebar, Mesh, Expanded Metal and specialty products in order to serve our customers as quickly as possible. Responsibilities:

• Loading / unloading steel manually and with the use of overhead cranes / forklift
• Fulfilling customer orders by pulling the steel purchased and loading it onto the trucks for delivery
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Ensure safe working practices are being followed
• Assist customers when picking up material

• Experience loading flatbed trucks (preferably with steel) is a asset
