HR/Payroll Administrator – London, Ontario
Contract – 8 Months
Located in our London, Ontario facility, this is an exciting opportunity to gain Human Resources, payroll, and benefits experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We need someone who has a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience with advanced computer skills in excel and database management.

Contract – 8 Months

We need someone who has a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience with advanced computer skills in excel and database management.
In this role, the candidate will:
- Responsible for all employees pay, benefits, compilation of vacation and attendance reports etc.; answering all related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee database for:
- Personal data (hire date, phone number etc.)
- Attendance record
- Training records and requirements
- Postings and Chronology of positions
- Performance appraisals
- Update daily attendance records and prepare disciplinary actions.
- Prepare payroll documentation required by the corporate office.
- Return to Work, Claims management and record keeping for WSIB and Non Occupational injuries or illnesses.
- Ensure that filing is complete and up to date.
- Meet with hourly employees, as required, to resolve benefit and payroll issues
- Recruit and identify potential new employees to be selected by managers.
- Publish Quarterly Newsletters for employees
- Organize employee engagement and celebration activities
- Responsible for years of service awards, monthly reports for plant manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resource courses preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills, Database development, Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in a production environment.
