DRIVER TRAINER POSITION
We are seeking a qualified DRIVER TRAINER to operate based out of the London terminal, with frequent travel to the 8 other terminals in Southwestern Ontario.
The Driver Trainer is responsible for evaluating the ability of all current and potential drivers to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
As a part of their duties, the driver trainer will be responsible for the orientation and training process for new employees, including forklift training. The driver trainer will be responsible for conducting all annual road tests for existing drivers within the fleet.
The driver trainer assists the Safety Manager by conducting post- collision/incident evaluations, assists with collision and incident investigation when necessary, and may be asked to attend on-site to address customer concerns as directed by the Safety Manager.

The Driver Trainer must have the following:
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Previous training experience preferred
- Minimum 7 years commercial driving experience
- On-call 24/7
- Solid organizational skills
- Good problem-solving, listening and communication skills
- Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) considered to be an asset
- Ability/willingness to learn variety of computer programs: Microsoft Office and Truckmate
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Forklift Instructor Certification or demonstrate willingness to undergo training
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Trainer Certification
