‘BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM’
Do you enjoy working with children? Are you interested in a friendly and professional working environment? Are you 18 years of age or older? If so, please apply to join the London Children’s Connection team.
Supply or part-time opportunities are currently available in our Before and After School Age Programs
Contracts are from September 2, 2014 to June 25, 2015 – Monday through Friday.
Shifts are from 7:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We are looking for passionate and engaged staff that will provide quality care in one of our 65+ locations in London and surrounding area.
Supply staff schedules can be flexible to work around school schedules; however, supply staff must be available to commit to at least one shift per week.
Responsibilities:
Are you a student in one of the following programs and would like to work as a supply staff?:
Autism and Behavioural Science, Bachelor of Applied Arts (Early Childhood Leadership), Child and Youth Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Early Childhood Education, Rec and Leisure, Social Service Worker,
Sociology, Psychology, Bachelor of Education, Childhood and Social Institutions

- To facilitate a safe and welcoming environment for children between the ages of 4 – 12
- To plan fun activities based on children’s needs and interest
- To provide supervision and guidance of daily activities
- To communicate effectively with children
- To take initiative in both team and individual situations
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree, with membership in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Post-secondary education in child related courses
- Professional experience working with children 4 – 12 years of age
- First Aid Training and acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check
