We are currently seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst,Production Support to join our London office.
Reporting to the Manager, IT Production Support in this exciting opportunity, you will undertake the following:
- Provide operational IT support of FCT’s production environment by troubleshooting reported problems, suggesting, implementing and testing solutions, and developing subject matter expertise of FCT’s systems
- Develop or modify applications according to defined requirements
- Develop or maintain documentation in support of FCT’s applications
- Liaise with other members of the Production Support team, as well as System and Network Administrators, Database Administrators, Project Members, and members of the Application Development Team
- Liaise with FCT Default Solutions’ Customer Support team in pursuit of timely resolution of production incidents.
- College diploma in Computer Programming, Application Development, or similar; University Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; or equivalent work experience
- Experience with the following programming languages and/or frameworks: SQL, SSIS, C#, Visual Basic, Coldfusion, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports
- Experience with the following applications: Visual Studio (2008+), MS-SQL Server 2008, Team Foundation Server
- Demonstrated understanding of software design principles and Internet technologies
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to contribute to multiple projects and/or tasks with minimal supervision.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
