Job Description
SE Freight Systems Inc. is currently looking for experienced Dispatchers to help support our growing operations.
This is a fast paced environment with a great deal of responsibility placed on employees to make the right decisions to meet tight deadlines. We need full schedule flexibility as we are a 24/7 operation.
Dispatchers -- 3 Immediate Openings!!!
Duties include :
Communicate and dispatch drivers ( truck and trailer information, seal numbers, ETA's, delays)
Confirm loads have been delivered on time to meet customer timelines - continual updates
Schedule loads based on safety, customer service, and load efficiency from the customer information received
Ensuring optimal truck utilization and maintain KPI targets
Record all safety and service incidents to management
Answer incoming calls, handle general inquiries, and forward calls to the appropriate destination
Record customer orders, messages and requests - forward to appropriate areas
Ensure drivers are performing responsibilities in a safe, reliable and professional manner
Record deliveries in the format as required by the customer
Look for driver coverage as needed to cover open routes
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written skills coupled with strong listening skills
2+ years experience in a dispatch position or customer service/call centre experience
Strong computer, organizational and analytical skills
Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Impeccable organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills required
High level of motivation and energy
Ability to work afternoon or midnight schedules including weekends
