On behalf of our Client Adecco is looking for a Purchasing/Accounting Associate to join a dynamic growing company just west of London.
The Successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of a variety of materials and services.

The Successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of a variety of materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Search for qualified and economical procurement sources locally to deliver the project requirements
- Evaluate all contractual relationships to identify savings and new potential opportunities
- Effectively conduct negotiations, develop tender/RFP and implement supplier contracts and agreements
- Monitor supply markets and conduct market intelligence
- Submit timely reports to supervisor and provide customer project updates
- Develop and review sourcing/procurement policies and procedures as required
- Ensure current and continued compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
- Verify shipment accuracy to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and goods meet specifications
- Inventory control and management
- Respond to the ad hoc and special project/initiative requests and needs of the business
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field is required
- Minimum 3 years experience in service procurement and supply chain
- Must be proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and internet savvy
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills in sourcing and negotiation
- Highly developed soft skills with ability to develop and manage relationships with major suppliers
- Excellent customer service, teamwork and negotiations skills are required. High level of commercial sophistication and ability to problem solve is required
