We are currently accepting applications to join our strong London, ON team as an Associate Sales Representative (ASR).
 
POSITION OVERVIEW
 
Our ASR works closely with Branch Management, Marketing, and our Business Development team to promote the value of FBC's services and to secure sales leads. Reporting to the Branch Manager, our ASR builds relationships with prospects and collaborates with team members to grow the business. Our ASR is relied upon to contribute ideas and strategies on how and where to best connect with our target market in the community.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Our successful candidate will:
  • Set up appointments for FBC Representatives to meet with potential Members
  • Build and manage the sales funnel for the region
  • Proactively reach out to prospects in our target markets to build relationships and to nurture those relationship in order to generate appointments with an FBC representative
  • Find, prepare for and attend local events to meet with potential Members
  • Research target markets and work with team members to build prospect lists and to implement plans for connecting with prospects in these areas
  • Manage inbound leads, nurturing the lead through to the appointment stage
  • Enter leads into the CRM system and update as necessary based on the results of appointments
  • Liaise with FBC reps and potential clients
  • Partner with Marketing to find, design and attend local events with the goal being to generate leads and to develop, and execute on, the local campaign
  • Meet targets and metrics as established by the Branch Manager
  • Partner with existing with FBC sales reps and Local Tax Consultants
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, may be assigned as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • A college diploma (equivalent, relevant experience will be considered)
  • 2+ years of experience in a call centre and/or sales environment
  • Customer service experience is a benefit
  • Sales experience is not mandatory, but is an asset

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential as some daytime travel is required.
