Job Description
Drake International is looking for afternoon General Labourers to join our client's site in South London. We are looking for professional individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
This is a full time opportunity that will allow candidates to learn and grow their skillset on the job. Our client offers a great work environment and 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience within;
- Machine Operating
- Manufacturing / Production
- Packaging
- General Labour
- Quality Control
Duties:
- Visually inspect finished product for defects before packing to ensure quality
- Follow written packing instructions
- Perform cardboard punch outs on products
- Glue, attach and assemble boxes
- Open and inspect bundles of material and check for proper printing and defects.
- Notify supervisor or lead of potential problems with finished product and/or machinery
- Stack case/dividers on carts and feed individual cases and dividers into case forming machine.
- Assist with rework to ensure effective completion.
- Complete written documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. Can be repetitive and demanding.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand throughout the duration of shifts
- Must be able to commit to working full-time hours
- Must have or be able to obtain steel toed work boots and safety glasses
- Must have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Day shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
Afternoon shift: Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm
Night shift: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am
Straight shifts --- NO ROTATIONS
Wage: $16/hr
