Talentcor Tillsonburg is currently recruiting for an Electrician for a large automotive client.
 
Wage: $30.90 / hr, excellent benefit package. Must be able to work 3 shift rotation and overtime as needed.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Install, program, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls within the Plant to ensure the ongoing and reliable operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Assess report on, promote, and carry-out process improvement initiatives, specifically with regard to machine and/or system reliability, improved start-up performance, and improved automation and controls.
• Contribute to the development of a preventive maintenance program, carry-out preventive maintenance and calibration activities, and replacement or repair of defective parts, component or system performance testing.
• Up-keep of maintenance records and daily activity logs.
• Complete preventative maintenance as required on machinery/equipment
• Wire new panels for machinery/equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed
• Program/revise new and existing machinery as needed
• Report on work performed and time spent to Plant Manager
• Complete maintenance repair tags, CIF’s as required
• Programming of PLC’s and robots
• Select, install and repair bussways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough, wire and communication cables
• Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipments and instrumentation drawings

Education:

• Industrial Electrician Trade Certification (442A) or (309A)
• Grade 12 Diploma
• 1-3 years experience in the industry
