Our client, a building supply distribution centre, has immediate openings for warehouse associates (loaders, with forklift certification). This is a job that involves ALOT of physical labour and is suited for candidates who can lift at least 60 pounds on a regular basis.

Our client, a building supply distribution centre, has immediate openings for warehouse associates (loaders, with forklift certification). This is a job that involves ALOT of physical labour and is suited for candidates who can lift at least 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Responsibilities may include:
- Print labels and affix to cartons
- Set up of assembly area for pickers and sort orders
- Wrap and palletize orders/skids
- Loading trailers, clean trucks, weigh trucks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years WAREHOUSE experience
- Candidates with a CURRENT forklift certification and experience using Narrow Aisle Reach trucks are preferred
- This is a very labour intensive position; candidates must be able to lift 60-70 pounds on a regular basis
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- This position is not located on the bus route so candidates must have reliable transportation
- Criminal background check will be required
- Candidates must be able to work between the hours of 6am and midnight (primarily afternoons)
General Information:
- Full-time permanent positions to start immediately.
- Rate of pay: $16.06/hr to start, regular increases
- Paid vacation, benefits, pension matching
