Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a new challenge?
Design Group Staffing has an opening for such a person supporting our partner, a busy automotive parts facility in Southwestern Ontario. This is a permanent fulltime role with salary and benefits.

Role Overview:
- The successful candidate will support customers and coordinate the quality activities & planning including successful PPAP for new and existing products while acting as primary contact during launches, and assist with APQP, PSO and internal auditing
- Write & review control plans & process flow charts and complete, then coordinate & validate part layouts to ensure design requirements are met
- Coordinate prototype shipments ensuing appropriate documentation is on file
- Service customers in quality Issues in acting as lead role for problem and concern resolution, followed by implementing procedural changes to improve customer performance; perform on site visits and attend customer meetings as requested and liaise with customer quality contacts
- Evaluate customer rejected material seeking root cause of defect
- Complete/coordinate new gauge R&R studies and support floor troubleshooting ad performance improvements
- Maintain documentation/records - APOP, PPAP, PSO, Operation Sketches, Flowcharts, R & R studies, Capability studies
- Generate customer concern responses (8D)
Qualifications/Education
- Postsecondary diploma or Degree (engineering or quality related)
- CQE, CET, CQT preferred
- 5-7 years experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Sound knowledge of AIAG tools
