digOnline (a Digital Internet Group Inc. company) is seeking an experienced Account Executive who has successfully marketed and managed web and other interactive media projects. The successful candidate will sell our products and services to new and existing clients, assist in the management of projects, and pursue new client acquisitions.

The Account Executive will be responsible for servicing existing clients as well as identifying new opportunities and marketing the company’s products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating multi-faceted web strategies for an array of clients. You will drive revenue with your web marketing knowledge, account management skills, business development acumen, and superior client focus.

digOnline is a full service digital marketing agency based in London, Ontario. Our services include strategy, web design, application and mobile development, pay-per-click advertising, SEO, and social media. Our experienced team helps clients plan, develop, execute and market all their digital needs. We have been active in local, regional and North American markets since 2000.

Responsibilities

Business Development/Marketing:
  • Explore new business opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Prepare and review client estimates and development plans
  • Conduct product and service demonstrations in person and via GoToMeeting
  • Write proposals in response to RFP’s as required
  • Sales forecasting with the team
  • Participate in the creation of key marketing messages and advertising materials for the company

Account Management:
  • Manage client accounts and respond to their day-to-day needs and requests
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Manage projects to ensure efficiently, on time and on budget delivery
  • Provide day-to-day communication regarding project status to clients
  • Write and implement strategic digital marketing strategies for clients
  • Project documentation (project briefs, contact reports, etc.)
  • Identify and escalate potential issues
  • Transform client problems into successful solutions (with account, creative, and development teams)
  • Keep up to date on market trends
  • Keep up to date on competitor initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • College or university degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in a sales/marketing role (agency experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online marketing products and services (structuring content, web site design, SEO, web analytics, online and pay per click advertising, mobile application development, email marketing and social media marketing)
  • Ability to articulate project and technical requirements with prospective clients and project team
  • Broad understanding of competitive and emerging technologies
  • Must be flexible, dependable and capable of quickly learning new products, strategies and technology directions of various projects
  • Some local, national, and U.S. travel to prospective and current client sites in support of sales efforts (passport required)
