The Jr. Controller will be tracking in the Access Database, preparing monthly and year-to-date reconciliations and tracking inventory and production costs. Will protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Additionally, protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Responsible for cash management, budgeting and preparation of government and tax filings. Requirement to complete data analysis and special reporting. Will be the Liaison for benefit and pension information. Other duties as required.
Costing experience will be required which is a process of collecting, recording, and evaluating data for various courses of action and control of costs. The main goal is to advise management on how to proceed into the future based on the cost-efficiency and capability that is reflective of the cost accounting process.

Hours: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM. Monday through Friday (40 hour work-week)

Qualifications
Candidates must have the following to qualify:
- Designation as a Chartered Accountant is preferred; Consideration will also be given to those working towards this designation.
- 3-7 years of experience in similar field (Accounting/Consulting/Financial/Auditing)
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient with Excel, Access Accounting and ACCPAC Sage 300.
- Efficiency and accuracy of data entry.
- Interpretation/Analysis of data reporting.
- Time management for reporting deadlines.
- Trustworthy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
- Sharp decision making skills
- Community minded.
