We are currently recruiting for a Director of Human Resources to join our growing team. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, the successful applicant will provide strategic direction and leadership for the growing Human Resources team, as well as act as a member of the Senior Management Team. The successful applicant will be responsible for analysing the existing HR processes and adding their knowledge and expertise to improve, create, implement and manage the day to day HR functions, with the support of their growing team. The position oversees and supports in the facilitation of policy and procedure, recruitment, job descriptions, training & development, benefits, disability (LTD & WSIB), on boarding/off boarding, succession planning, health & safety and compensation equity plans. You will be a forward thinker, comfortable with change, an innovator, collaborate well with other leaders, and be adept at goal setting and adding value added support. The company is located within a comfortable 30-minute commute from London, Ontario.
Requirements of this role include:
- 10 years of progressive Human Resources management at a senior level, with demonstrated success in leading a successful HR department
- CHRL or CHRP designation preferred with post-secondary university education in Human Resources Management
- Solid communication skills and the ability to provide excellent HR customer service to the department leaders
- Knowledgeable in both Provincial and Federal employment legislation
