The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 programmers to plan, test and implement programming projects. This dynamic and self-motivated individual will have experience and skills in website, mobile app and software development.

Requirements

• Direct daily operations of programming department, analyze workflows, establish priorities, develop standards and set deadlines.
• Review project plans and coordinate project activities.
• Evaluate the organization's technology use and recommend improvements.
• Prepare & present project progress reports.
• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to coordinate on projects and resolve problems.
• Evaluate, assess project feasibility and requirements.
• Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
• Assign and review the work of programmers and other computer-related workers.
• Purchase network hardware & software.
• Review and approve all systems and code prior to their implementation.
• Consult with management to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Develop computer information resources, providing for data security, backup and disaster recovery.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise programming staff.
• Stays up-to-date with advances in technology.
