Agilus Work Solutions is recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager position for our client in the London surrounding area. 



Accountabilities:



  • Managing 2 direct reports while coordinating with all departments, vendors, and suppliers 

  • Determine budgets for consumables, shipping, traffic, subcon and incoming raw materials

  • Work with production to ensure products are processed in the most cost effective way while ensuring 100% on time delivery to the customer

  • Developing and communicating a comprehensive vision for Supply Chain to meet organizational objectives

  • Setting, monitoring, and influencing key performance figures  

  • Ensure delivery of customer requirements within agreed time frames while considering available resources

  • Plan and schedule direct material and subcontracted services to be in sync with customer requirements   

  • Employs a proactive approach to meeting all customer deadlines and expectations; reassessing quantities on an ongoing basis 

  • Coordinate and provide input into customer demand at all planning including strategy, budget, and forecasting at the plant 

  • Utilize Supply Chain planning processes including Sales and Operations planning, Master Scheduling and Materials Requirements Planning

  • Utilize ERP systems as enabler to robust SC planning processes

  • Work with Finance as necessary on Usage Variation analysis 

  • Assist in translating and improving the required and available capacity, of required resources / production layouts / material flows with special regard to increased flexibility / cycle time reduction and inventory optimization

  • Manage the accuracy of inventory records within ERP system 

  • Work with the production and quality departments to manage customer concerns effectively 

  • Ask as back-up to the shipper/receiving coordinator

  • Monitor pricing of current parts and coordinate necessary price adjustments with Key Account Managers 

  • Monitor quantity changes in inventory, demand for spare parts, and individual orders 

  • Follows all safety instruction and is mindful of Six Sigma 5-S standards  


Requirements:


  • Post secondary education with a focus on supply chain or related field an asset 

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials, Inventory, and Customer Coordination 

  • 2-3+ years supervisory or management level experience

  • 2+ years experience with planning, strategizing, and pricing of parts 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Enterprise Resource Planning software experience

  • APICS or related certification considered an asset 

  • Strong data analysis, project management, and leadership skills 


Total Compensation Package:


  • $85,000 - $125,000, depending on experience

  • Possible bonus up to 18% earnings

  • Permanent and long-term employment with a reputable organization
