Job Description
We would like to add an Administrative/Accounting Assistant to the LBMX team. We are seeking a motivated self-starter who will be proactive, independent and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and adapt to change in duties and responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:
LBMX is a leading provider of technology solutions for purchasing co-operatives, buying groups, members and their suppliers. These solutions comprise rebate and purchase analysis software, member electronic document delivery, member online ordering, and complete EDI services to assist members and groups to connect to their suppliers. Based on LBMX’s “Many to Many” technology, LBMX solutions are helping to connect purchasing co-operatives, buying groups, suppliers, and member locations resulting in over two million trading relationships. LBMX is based in London, Ontario, Canada and has customers throughout Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:
- Answer incoming calls and enquiries in a positive and professional manner
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Generate and distribute invoices
- Data entry of new account information; data entry on in house software
- Weekly filing and year end filing
- General office duties including, filing, mail and ordering office supplies
- Preparation of various correspondences with a level of confidentiality
- Provide support to other staff in various departments
- Must be Bilingual, French and English
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Exceptional telephone and client service etiquette and grammar skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and independently perform work assignments accurately with a high level of precision while maintaining steady workflow
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and work in a team environment
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task; Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in an office setting is preferred; Bookkeeping experience preferred
