Great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in London Ontario!
In this role this Administrative Assistant would be providing administrative support for the North American Program Departments and Managers.
The successful candidate will serve as the key contact person for:
• all departmental administrative duties
• coordinating site visitors
• arranging customer meetings/presentations
• policy changes
• staff travel information
This candidate will be maintaining accurate and timely record keeping of departmental staff's role changes, completing the timely departmental timesheet submissions to Payroll, submitting departmental IT requests, reconciling travel, catering and various office expenses. They would also be backfilling for various departmental administrative assistants, as required.
Required Qualifications
• Completed post-secondary education
• Possess a minimum of two years of Office Administration experience in a large organization
• Acquired and advanced skill level in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Possess an ability to manage multiple activities under pressure and interact within various levels of the team successfully
• Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate, both, verbally and written
• Be self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team
• Possess excellent organizational skills, is thorough and detail-oriented
• Have an ability to travel (5% local domestic) and possess /able to acquire a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications
• Possess experience in a defense services industry
• Familiar with Lenel, Oracle and Concur Travel systems
Due to the nature of the position, successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program, including, but not limited to, the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance to secret level.
