AUTOTUBE LIMITED IS A TIER 1 SUPPLIER TO THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.
We are looking for a mechanically inclined SET UP TECHNICIAN for Injection Mould Machines in our Strathroy Plant.
***This position works 4 x 10 hour shifts and off Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays***
Enjoy a 3 day weekend every week !
Hours are : Monday to Thursday 3:30pm until 2:00 am
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in injection moulding. environment.

- Responsible for start up, and setup and troubleshoot several injection moulding machines.
- Performs Set Ups of injection mold machines to meet production schedule set
- Performs preventative maintenance activities on a regular basis to maintain equipment. This includes mold machines, dryers, grinders, and thermolators
- Minimize scrap and improve product quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles
- A key member involved in continuous improvement initiatives
- Look for ways to increase efficiency, product quality and reduce scrap
- Communicate with production staff about any issues to be aware of
- Review production processes and maintain required documentation.
- Ensures adequate hand off of information to the day shift technician.
- Provide technical support to the production staff
