Advance Manufacturing Technologies ULC (AMTI) is a leader in its industry and specializes in custom fabrication, welding, and machining of metal. AMTI has two London locations totaling over 100,000 square feet. Our facilities operate with the use of heavy duty overhead cranes, over 30 large modern CNC machines, and a 24-hour operation manned by expert and committed human capital.
AMTI holds the following certifications: ISO 9001:2008, CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau), AWS (American Welding Society) certification in Steel and Aluminum, and the European DIN EN 15085. AMTI is also a certified company with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
Essential Functions:
Successful applicants must meet all requirements under the Canada Controlled Goods Regulations (CGR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and must be approved as mandated by Public Works & Government Services Canada and applicable contractual obligations.

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer to join our growing team.
Essential Functions:
- Study component drawings and determine the most effective machining operation to effectively machine the part.
- Decide the sequence in which the machine operations have to be carried out and the amount of material to be removed in each step of the sequence.
- Calculate the time required to manufacture parts depending on the dimensions of the finished job and the size of the raw material you are using
- Set up machining process for the part base on received Blueprint DWG
- Design fixture to support the process
- Write and optimize CNC programs according to the process
- Develop WI (Work Instruction) ,Checking Sheet ,Log Book and select cutting tools
- Manage CNC database
- Diploma or Degree in Programming/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience programming 3, 4 and 5-Axis Vertical and Horizantal CNC Mills/Lathes with Mastercam X7
- 5-axis lathe programming an asset
- Ability to program complex geometries to exacting specification and in a cost efficient manner.
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Understanding of machining methodology and material properties
- Understand and interpret blueprints drawings, standards and specifications
