The Inside Sales Coordinator will serve primarily as a key point of contact for potential and existing Ivey Open Enrolment and Client-specific program clients. Through consultative selling the Inside Sales Coordinator will provide guidance to clients in selecting and purchasing the correct program.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Sales Activities:
- Follow up on all potential leads guiding clients in the section of the most appropriate program.
- Manage leads from identification and initial contact through to enrollment and appointment setting for business development team.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities from internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain customer records and database information within Ivey’s sales management tracking system
- Attend Executive Education programs to develop relationships with clients and gather feedback, and identify influencers among participants who can help with testimonials, rankings and future programs.
- Conduct post-program follow up with clients
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to track performance
- Coordinate, promote and attend all promotional events
Marketing Support:
- Monitor and report on industry related information
- Assist in execution of marketing campaigns
- Oversee all social media accounts
- Research and identify content to be utilized in marketing campaigns
Business Development Support:
- Perform administrative tasks as required for the sales department
- Assist with completing proposals
- Work closely with Business Development team to ensure their client visits are well planned and qualified
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Program Management (as required):
- Managing all non-academic aspects of assigned programs including preparation of teaching materials, coordination of facility arrangements, program on-site support and post-program evaluation completion
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Undergraduate university degree or 2 year diploma from a recognized community college
- Minimum of three years’ related customer service and/or sales experience in a professional corporate setting i.e. Higher Education, Financial.
- Strong ability to initiate, establish, nurture meaningful business relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professional verbal and written communication, tact and diplomacy.
- Experience with contact management databases; experience using Salesforce CRM an asset
- Ability to multitask, work effectively within a team towards common goals and ability to organize own work to meet demanding deadlines.
- Results driven with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Able to set priorities based on potential revenue opportunities
- Intermediate computerskills i.e. Microsoft office and database applications
- Willingness to travel and work outside of regular business hours
This is a two-year renewable contract position with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
