Quality Control Manager

Our client in London, a forging and machining manufacturer is looking for a Quality Control Manager.  This is a permanent position for an experienced QA/QC Manager with a Chemical or Petro-Chemical background.

Required Qualifications     

• University degree or Diploma in a technical discipline
• Quality Management experience in Chemical or Petro-Chemical industry
• ISO 9000 and ISO 9001:2015 certification, in depth knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
• PMI/PMP, QA/QC hands on experience
• Reading/interpreting drawings and blueprints, knowledge of flanges and fittings
• CAD, MSOffice, Microsoft Paint, QMS system management

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff
• Set requirements for raw materials from suppliers/vendors
• Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
• Writing and maintenance of QMS manual and system, training and work procedures
• Liaise with Production, Sales departments, and Vendors to ensure quality standards are met, issues prevented and/or resolved effectively.
