SRG Tillsonburg is currently hiring a Production Scheduler for a valued client here in Tillsonburg.

The Rewards:

• $35000-$45000 a year-based on experience

• Day Shift 7:00am -3:30pm

The Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the translation of product forecasts into a feasible master production schedule
• Strive to balance stable staffing levels and appropriate quantities of finished goods. 
• You will be the Primary contact between production and Customer Service Representative.
• Modify production plan and master schedule based upon forecast revisions, capacity restraints/bottlenecks and material procurement issues.
• Confirm delivery dates to Customer Service as required.
• Actively issue random stock checks of finished goods and WIP inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Review root cause for inaccuracy and develop reasonable corrective actions.
• Participate in meetings to update production and purchasing of changes to customer requirements that may require immediate attention.
• Enter daily production and scrap, reviewing production over-runs and under-runs. Analyze results of not meeting schedules to customer requirements.
• Understanding and involvement in new product launches.
• Understand Bill of Materials/Routings.
• Respond to urgent customer requests as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal
• All other duties as assigned

The Selection Criteria

• 3 - 5 years in a similar position
• Computer skills; Lean manufacturing knowledge; Manufacturing MRP (BPCS preferred)
• Bill of Materials/Routings, Capacity/constraint management
• CAPICS Certification
• Problem solving, team player
• Customer base knowledge
• Oral and written skills
