LucasWorks is Ontario’s most successful and innovative recruitment firm. We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join our team in the Temporary Services Division in Woodstock, Ontario.
The main role of the Recruitment Specialist will be to interview and source candidates in a timely manner for a variety of positions and manage multiple clients while understanding their unique recruitment needs.

The main role of the Recruitment Specialist will be to interview and source candidates in a timely manner for a variety of positions and manage multiple clients while understanding their unique recruitment needs.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle recruitment including posting and advertising, resume review, candidate pre-screening and interviewing, conducting reference checks, candidate testing and skills assessments and candidate submittals
- Database management to ensure candidate/client details are accurate and up to date
- Ensure the database is populated with qualified candidates for a variety of positions
- Account management including continual client contact, filling job requests, time and attendance tracking, customized client reporting and assisting with payroll
- Conduct customer specific orientations, and on site health and safety site inspections to ensure customer sites meet all OHSA legislation
- Complete employee performance reviews, offer coaching and guidance when necessary
- Assist with administrative duties and reception coverage as needed
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads
- Connect with professional organizations and network in the community in order to generate new business and contacts
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- 2 plus years recruiting experience in a similar environment
- Post-Secondary education preferred
- Experience recruiting for a variety of clients and industries and knowledge of internet sourcing, recruiting networks and ad placements
- Strong knowledge of all employment laws and practices including WSIB case management
- High level of attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to an ever changing work environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and HRIS
- Availability on weekends and after hours as required
