Customer Service Representative – Learning Resources Representative (JNA 201700167)
Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus

Type of Position: Full-time temporary until December 1, 2018
Salary: $24.15 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week . Occasional evening coverage may be required.
Closing Date: September 26, 2017
Note: This is a full-time position temporary position until December 1, 2018 (35 hours per week).
Duties: Under the supervision of the Chair, the incumbent provides customer service and support to the Campus Learning Resource Centre, Library, and Bookstore. The incumbent supports the academic activities of students and faculty in order to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Provides support services to the LBS Program (Literacy and Basic Skills - Adult Upgrading Program) and provides service to our customers including students, staff and community members. The incumbent also provides back-up support to other areas of the Campus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary 2 year diploma in Office Administration, Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience gained in a related customer service role using a variety of computer software programs, preferably within an academic environment
- Demonstrated familiarity with and comfort level using a variety of technologies
- Demonstrated capacity to learn and adapt quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
