Job Description
On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are recruiting for a Cash Application Analyst on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

Compensation: $35,000-$45,000 depending on candidate experience

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Analyze collections from customers to ensure completion
- Follow up with credit departments to obtain remittance information
- Apply payment from customers to accounts in a timely manner
- Review Funds Received Reports to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to processing
- Review cheque batches from credit departments to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Confirm that collections from customers are deposited and referenced in bank statements on a daily basis
- Scan cheques for processing and deposits, confirming that batches balance on a daily basis
- Review the daily exception report, correcting errors and documenting expectations
- Analyze the cash application suspense account and correct any errors
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships both internally and externally
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma with a focus in Accounting
- Strong communication skills
- Professional self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Display desire for continuous self-improvement
- Ability to develop a high level of trust and respect from internal customers
- Works well in a team environment
- Analytical ability to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement
- Bilingualism considered an asset
