Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for an Accounting Clerk on a full time, contract basis.
 
Duties (may include and not limited to)
  • Entering invoices to be paid
  • Following up with vendors regarding missing invoices
  • Issuing cheques for payment on vendor invoices
  • Answering questions from vendors who require payment
  • Making collection calls to customers regarding delinquent accounts
  • Processing customer payments
  • Other accounting related duties as assigned by Controller
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a College diploma or University degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with Business Visions considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
 
Compensation:  $17.00-20.00 per hour + 4% Vacation Pay  
 
Hours: 3 Days per week; 8:00am – 5:00pm
