Opportunity

Reporting to the Scoreboards Manufacturing Manager, the Materials Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that inventory and raw materials are properly handled and monitored for the Scoreboards Manufacturing Department. This position is critical in helping to ensure that OES Scoreboard products are manufactured and shipped according to schedule and that OES quality management systems are maintained.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Monitor and maintain finished goods and raw materials for the OES Scoreboards Manufacturing Department using Inventory Management Software
  • Put away newly received raw materials according to inventory management process
  • Regularly monitor the OES Scoreboards production schedule to ensure that necessary materials are available for upcoming jobs
  • Notify the Scoreboards Manufacturing Manager of any missing materials or inadequate inventory levels and coordinate with other OES departments to locate and/or order required materials
  • Assist in the execution of continuous improvement plans relating to inventory management for OES Scoreboards by identifying risks and making recommendations to the Scoreboards Manufacturing Manager
  • Work with External suppliers as required to coordinate outsourced materials related to OES Scoreboards Manufacturing process

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary diploma in inventory management or related field will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience working in electronics manufacturing will be considered an asset
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality 
  • Strong computer skills
  • Basic mathematic skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
